  Well that's that. All the rats have now met their maker, joined the choir invisible, passed on. That's the problem, you only get a few short years with them and then they're gone! I think I'll take a break for a few years, will give me time to buy and own some things without teeth marks in them ;-)
Gee haven't updated this page for years. Duke bear is an old man now. Over 2 and a half years old but still going strong :x) I've added a couple of new pics on the right of him enjoying some "muller corner" yoghurt and chocolaty bits (duke4.jpg and duke6.jpg) and you can see he is becoming a little scruffy! That thing he is standing on is the last remains of a £10 hanging tunnel I bought him in the petstore a few months ago and which is now only good for holding that cardboard floor in place (little bugger!)

I'm trying out a new rat food by 'XtraVital' (along with the usual cooked vegetables, biltong, cheese and yoghurt treats), hopefully the rats will like it! They used to only eat their favourite half of the 'Reggie Rat' food so we'll see how this stuff goes.
Update 12 October 2002 - They only eat their favourite half of the new food as well. |
